Once dominated by traditional in-person experiences, the market is now embracing digital innovation at an unprecedented pace — and live streaming is at the heart of this evolution. As CEO of Space LIVE Productions and The Space Events & Sports, I have been instrumental in driving this shift. My leadership mirrors the impact of visionary CEOs like Mary Barra, but in a sector where creativity, technology and operational excellence intersect to deliver experiences that resonate far beyond the venue. The Numbers Tell the Story: The growth of the UAE events market is nothing short of impressive. Mordor Intelligence projects the market to reach USD 3.42 billion by 2030, growing at a 6.8% CAGR, while IMARC Group estimates it will expand from USD 8.5 billion in 2024 to USD 27.1 billion by 2033, at a 12.5% CAGR. These figures reflect not only increased tourism and infrastructure investment but also the UAE’s commitment to hosting global exhibitions, conferences and sporting spectacles.Meanwhile, live streaming is reshaping audience engagement. The UAE’s live streaming market, which generated USD 3.77 billion in 2023, is expected to reach USD 14.64 billion by 2030, growing at a 21.4% CAGR. This growth underscores a broader regional trend, with the Middle East’s media and entertainment sector projected to nearly double from USD 44.5 billion in 2025 to USD 94.7 billion by 2033.Innovation Through Space LIVE Productions: What makes this transformation possible is infrastructure that can support it. Space LIVE Productions has become a state-of-the-art hub for live content creation in Dubai Marina. From ultra-high-definition 12K cameras and drone cinematography to multi-camera live switching, the studio enables high-quality streaming of sports, entertainment and corporate events to global audiences in real time.Notable productions have included record-setting sporting events, corporate showcases and large-scale entertainment broadcasts — all benefiting from the studio’s technical sophistication and creative expertise. The UAE is no longer just a host of events; it is now a global leader in live, interactive experiences.

Women Leading the Way: My work also highlights an important narrative: the rise of women in a traditionally male-dominated sector. By combining strategic vision with operational expertise, demonstrating that leadership in creative streaming and events is about innovation, resilience and inclusivity.Looking Ahead: The UAE’s events industry is evolving faster than ever and live streaming is key to unlocking its full potential. We are not only driving market growth but also setting new standards for production quality, audience engagement and industry leadership. The message is clear: the future of events is digital, immersive and accessible — and the UAE is leading the charge.

How the UAE’s Live Events Industry is Evolving — and Why Space LIVE Productions is Leading the Way

Dubai doesn't lack golf courses. What it lacks is a place where a golfer can tee off and get real feedback on their swing and walk out having actually improved — no tee times, no weather delays, no waiting for daylight. That's what The Space Sports has quietly built. And it's time more people knew about it.A Simulator That Plays Like the Real Thing At the centre of the golf setup is an advanced golf simulator — the kind that doesn't just show you a screen and hope for the best, but tracks your swing, your ball flight, your spin. Rain outside or 45 degrees outside, — none of it matters in here.Built for Golfers Who Are Serious About Getting Better This isn't a novelty setup for a corporate away-day (though it works brilliantly for that too — more on that below). It's a genuine training environment.Whether you're a beginner who's never held a club and wants to learn without the pressure of a real course, or a low-handicap player chasing the last few strokes off your game, the simulator and coaching setup adapt to you. Data doesn't lie — every swing is measured, which means every lesson is actually building on the last one instead of starting from scratch.

For golfers that means:Consistent practice, regardless of season or weather — no more losing weeks of progress to the summer heat Real coaching, backed by real data — swing analysis that shows you exactly what changed, not just what it felt like Putting practice that mirrors real course conditions, thanks to the adjustable green. An Open Invitation to Golf Coaches and Trainers Here's the part we're most excited about.Right now, a lot of talented golf coaches in Dubai are stuck doing what tennis coaches, yoga instructors, and personal trainers across the city are also stuck doing — piecing together access to decent facilities, one booking at a time, with no real home base. The Space Sports wants to change that for golf. We're opening the doors to golf coaches and trainers who want a dedicated space to build their programme — consistent hours, a simulator and putting green that's actually built for serious coaching, and the flexibility to grow a client base without fighting for court or bay time. If you're a coach who's ready to stop working around other people's schedules and start building something on your own terms, this is the space to do it in.Think of it less like renting a bay, and more like finding a home for your coaching business.More Than a Golf Facility The golf simulator lounge sits inside The Space Sports — a wider destination that also includes an indoor tennis court. It means a golf session here can easily turn into a client entertainment afternoon, a corporate offsite, or a full day out for a group that wants more than just eighteen holes on a screen. For golfers, it's a place to actually improve. For coaches, it's a place to actually build. Either way, the invitation is the same: come see what training on a real setup feels like.Interested in booking a session, enquiring about coaching packages, or exploring a coaching partnership at The Space Sports? The Golf Simulator Built for Next Generation of Players and Coaches

Every industry has a moment where the gap between what businesses need and what's actually available becomes too obvious to ignore. For Dubai's logistics and light-industrial sector, that moment has been building for a while.Over the past few years, I've had countless conversations with founders and operators across logistics, distribution, and light manufacturing — all circling the same problem. Demand for warehouse space in Dubai keeps climbing, driven by e-commerce growth, a growing population, and rising need for distribution and last-mile facilities. But a lot of the stock available hasn't kept pace. Fixed layouts. Limited ceiling height. Facilities that made sense for the business someone had five years ago, not the one they're running now. That gap is what led to our newest project: a warehousing and commercial development in Dubai Investments Park 2.

Building for Growth, Not Just for Handover The instinct in real estate is often to build to a specification and move on. We took a different approach — starting with the question of what happens to a tenant's business in year three or year five, not just what they need on day one. That's why every unit in the development has a 10-metre clear internal height, well above what's typical across much of Dubai's existing industrial stock. It's a detail that doesn't show up on a floor plan the way square footage does, but it means a business can add a mezzanine level almost anywhere in the building — turning unused vertical space into offices, a showroom, or extra storage without ever needing to relocate. Partition walls are designed to come down easily too, so neighbouring units can be combined as a business scales. We're also handing every unit over in shell condition. That's a deliberate choice. It means the businesses leasing the space — whether they're running logistics operations, e-commerce fulfilment, distribution, light manufacturing, or something else entirely — get to build it around how they actually operate, not around a layout we decided for them.

Location Was Never Going to Be an Afterthought None of this matters if the site isn't positioned where operations actually happen. DIP 2 sits close to the infrastructure that logistics and distribution businesses depend on — around 12 kilometres from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road, 18 kilometres from Jebel Ali Port, and 30 kilometres from Al Maktoum International Airport. It's an established industrial district, and that mattered to us as much as anything we built on top of it.What's Underneath the Numbers Fourteen units. Two buildings. Roughly 320 to 370 square metres each. Those are the figures that go on a spec sheet, and they're accurate — but they're not really the point. The point is that we designed every unit for the realities of operating here, not just the requirements of getting through inspection. High-quality thermal insulation to manage long-term energy costs. Raised floor levels to reduce water ingress risk during heavy rainfall. A dedicated electrical transformer station, so power capacity can scale as a tenant's needs grow instead of becoming the next bottleneck. These are the decisions that don't make headlines but do make a difference three years into a lease.Where We Go From Here Construction started in July 2026, and we're on track for completion and handover in September 2027. Units are open for pre-leasing now, and I'd genuinely encourage any business in logistics, distribution, e-commerce, or light manufacturing that's felt this gap themselves to get in touch early.Dubai's industrial sector is moving quickly. My hope is that this development gives a few more businesses the room to move with it.

Revolutionising Sports Venues: Space Sports' Impact on Private Training in Dubai

Nobody has ever left a trust fall exercise feeling genuinely changed. Nobody has walked back into the office on Monday thinking: that ropes course really shifted something in me.We all know it. And yet, somehow, the corporate team building industry keeps selling the same beige experience — and teams keep showing up, going through the motions, and forgetting everything by Thursday. The Space Sports Centre does it differently. Because sport doesn't lie. What Happens When You Put a Team in an Arena You find out who your people really are.Not who they are in a meeting — measured, diplomatic, performing. Who they are under pressure. Who steps forward when it's hard. Who supports without being asked. Who discovers something about themselves they didn't expect. That's what sport does. It strips the professional polish and gets to the thing underneath — which, as it turns out, is exactly what great teams are built from. What We Offer Boxing Fitness & Team Challenge No experience needed. A lot of energy required. Teams rotate through technique, pad work and timed challenges that are equal parts physical and mental. Success means different things to different people. For me, success has never been measured only by business growth or achievements. It is also measured by the positive impact we have on other people's lives.Over the years, I have been fortunate to build businesses that bring people together through sport, creativity and storytelling. Alongside that journey, philanthropy has become an important part of who I am and what I believe in.I don't see giving back as something separate from business. I believe every business has a responsibility to support its community and create opportunities for others.

One of the causes closest to my heart is the work we do with children and families at Al Jalila Children's Hospital.Throughout the year, my team and I regularly visit the oncology ward to spend time with the children and their families. Sometimes we bring gifts, organise creative activities, music, games and entertainment. Other times, we simply sit, listen and share conversations. We also support different hospital initiatives through financial contributions whenever we can. These visits are never about publicity.

They are about reminding every child that they are seen, valued and never alone. The courage these children show every day is inspiring. Watching them smile after everything they have been through is something that stays with you long after you leave the hospital. Those moments remind me that kindness doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes, giving someone your time and attention is the greatest gift you can offer. Our commitment to social impact extends beyond the hospital. Whether it is community events, supporting local initiatives or creating opportunities for people through sport and education, we believe that small actions, carried out consistently, can create meaningful change.

I often say that the greatest return on investment is seeing a child smile. No award, business milestone or headline can replace that feeling. As we continue to grow, so does our commitment to giving back. My hope is that we can reach more people, support more communities and encourage others to use their own skills and resources to make a difference.Because in the end, our greatest legacy is not what we build for ourselves. It is what we leave behind for others.
